The silence of writers

This week 152 writers spoke out about the ‘cancel’ culture in Harper’s magazine. I had a problem with their use (or non-use) of language. I wrote about it The Critic.

I have taught English for 20 years and have, in that time, been a Head of Department, Head of IB (for both MYP and Diploma), author, editor, workshop leader, inspector, and am now, increasingly, interested in policy and research.
